Ripple’s XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE) are among the top 10 altcoins experiencing price declines after previous successful performances. On the other hand, VC Spectra (SPCT) is the best crypto to buy today because of its promising potential and significant gains during its public presale stages. Its earliest investors expect a 900% gain when the price reaches $0.08.
Here’s why XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE) are inferior to VC Spectra (SPCT).
Whales Add To XRP’S Storm Following Ripple Lab’s Legal Issues
Ripple’s XRP, one of the best altcoins, experienced some fluctuations but overall showed an upward trend following its partial victory against the SEC on July 13. However, the XRP crypto price experienced a decline from $0.614 to $0.468 on August 17 due to the market crash.
XRP partially rebounded from its lows and closed August trading at $0.529. On September 3, a whale alert tweet indicated a Ripple Whale transferred approximately 29 million XRP, valued at over $15 million, from an unidentified wallet to Bitstamp.
The Ripple whale transfers have had minimal impact on the XRP crypto price, as it has been trading from $0.499 to $0.508 from September 3 to September 7. However, XRP soon dropped below the $0.500 mark, reaching $0.480 by September 12, and confirming the bearish sentiment.
On a more positive note, bullish experts still suggest XRP can reach at least $0.610 by the end of 2023.
Can Dogecoin Reach $1, Or Will It Continue Declining Despite Elon Musk’s Support?
Elon Musk reportedly provided undisclosed funding for the development of Dogecoin (DOGE), per an August 31 Wall Street Journal article. While Elon Musk’s public endorsement of the meme coin is not new, the recent revelations may have surprised many, with some asking, “Can Dogecoin reach $?”
In September, there was anticipation within the crypto community for a significant increase in value for Dogecoin (DOGE), one of the top 10 altcoins. And even though a lot is possible with Elon Musk, Dogecoin (DOGE) has been trading within a range of $0.060 to $0.065 since the beginning of September.
The sideways trading pattern probably answers “Can Dogecoin reach $1?” best. As of September 12, Dogecoin’s (DOGE) price was $0.061, and Elon or not, it will take many years for the meme coin to reach the $1 mark.
The upcoming Elon Musk biography could positively impact Dogecoin’s (DOGE) price. Yet, analysts predict that Dogecoin (DOGE) will trade between $0.074 and $0.180 by the end of the year – in the best case scenario.
